staying home on Easter Sunday

I was torn this morning!

Yesterday, I started coming down with a chest cold, or some-such. I'm not feeling that bad, but I can tell it's time to load up on vitamin c. So I'm faced with the "do I go to church or not" decision.

When it's someone else, I WANT them to stay home when they're feeling sick, so as not to pass it around to others. But when it's ME, I feel lonely wanting to be there.

Somehow, sipping coffee, and keeping company with my computer screen ... just isn't the same.

It's bad enough on a regular Sunday, but today is Easter, and we're having baptisms.

Probably changed my mind 5 times this morning, until it was finally just too late to go, no matter what I decided!!

People in fragile health should be able to go to church without worrying they're going to catch something, and the only way for that to happen is for the rest of us to stay home when we feel buggy. I understand that. But I don't feel bad enough to be glad to be staying home!

I am sorry to hear that! I hope you get better quickly. It could have something to do with the bit of snow....
