For some weeks now I have been engaged in dispersing the contents of this
apartment, trying to persuade hundreds of inanimate objects to scatter
and leave me alone. It is not a simple matter. I am impressed by the
reluctance of one's worldly goods to go out again into the world.

Hey, Trinka;
Great post. Mom emailed me to be sure to check it out.
We've been de-cluttering for about 1 1/2 months now in hopes of selling our house and moving. We've distributed boxes and boxes to Goodwill, etc., sold stuff at garage sales, burned stuff, and sent stuff away in the dumpster - and it's still cluttered in our house! How does that work?
