I'm sorry you see it that way! I certainly didn't intend it to be offensive.
Being a Christian doesn't preclude taking a political position (including the one opposite of my own!)
And part of politics is often pointing out your disagreement with the other party's positions with sarcasm and humor.
Again, I apologize for causing offense. It was not my intention.
