This little goldfinch has been regularly coming to attack himself in the mirror on my porch. I have to admire his persistence, if not his brains. :) See him? He's in silhouette on the vine in front of the mirror. I'm becoming fond of the foolish little guy.

We have a male cardinal that does the same thing with his reflection in Jeff's truck if he parks it next to the pole barn. He was starting to damage the paint so we've had to move the truck. Now he attacks himself in the window of the den instead. I wish he was half as smart as the frog.....

I remember you telling me about that cardinal last summer. Can't believe he's back at it again this year!
Want to hear more about the frog. :)
